I had the idea for this part of my site after a friend lost everything in the recent flooding in Louisana.  Well, I had been thinking of doing it for a few days, I just hadn't gotten around to it yet.  But hers isn't the only ones I want to call attention to.  The others being The March Of Dimes for preemies, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research and Shane's Inspiration, an organization that fosters a bias-free world for children with disabilities by creating social inclusion for children with disabilities through the vehicle of inclusive playgrounds and programs.  Another friend I'm in full support of is Kristina Burnett, who has her own fundraiser to help animals in shelters find loving homes.  She is an Sacramento SPCA volunteer who works tirelessly to help dogs and cats in her commumnity.
